Areas of practice
Marianne’s practice is a mixture of both commercial
and general chancery litigation and advisory work, with particular
emphasis on business disputes. She is retained on her own account
and as junior counsel in a range of courts.
Her commercial work covers agency, asset tracing, consumer credit,
company and partnership disputes, contract/sale of goods and services,
equitable claims, fraud, insurance and restraint of trade
A significant part of Marianne’s practise embraces all aspects
of contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency
in the High Court and the County Courts, including directors’
disqualification, company liquidations and administrations, asset
recovery, wrongful trading, preference, transactions at an undervalue,
shareholder disputes, misfeasance, receiverships, bankruptcies and
voluntary arrangements. Her clients vary from major banks to insolvency
practitioners, corporations and individuals.
