Thirteen Old Square® has expertise in public international law, including all aspects of state responsibility, international human rights law, investment protection (in particular investor-State arbitrations), questions of immunity and matters involving the law of the sea (including maritime delimitation). As well as providing advice on issues of public international law, members of Chambers accept instructions in relation to cases involving international law before international courts, international arbitral tribunals and in the domestic courts.

In the field of private international law, Thirteen Old Square® has extensive expertise in advising on jurisdictional issues and conflict of laws in connection with its areas of practice in banking, civil fraud, insolvency, insurance and reinsurance, and trusts.
