Ingrid Detter is an acknowledged specialist in international law, in areas concerning powers and duties of states in the Law of War and in Space Law. She is adviser and consultant to several governments.

Areas of Practice:

Law of War, intervention, freezing of assets, secession, independence, recognition, mediation, arbitration (as arbitrator or counsel), war crimes, humanitarian law, human rights, extradition, jurisdiction, sovereign and diplomatic immunity, space law, air law, law of the sea, admiralty law and shipping, international organizations, conflict of laws and civil legal systems.

Right of Audience outside England: Sweden, Norway, France, Italy and Germany.

Languages: Fluent (native level) in English, French, German, Italian, Croatian and all Scandinavian languages; Working knowledge of Russian, Spanish, and Portuguese.
