Areas of practice
Developed from a broad Chancery base, David's practice
now focuses on insolvency, company & partnership and commercial
litigation.
David has extensive experience of all types of insolvency regimes;
recoveries for and against office-holders and banks; directors'
disqualification; breach of directors' duties; shareholder and partnership
disputes; contractual disputes and professional negligence. He has
acted on behalf of the Commissioners of HM Revenue & Customs
in numerous excise duty appeals and applications under the Proceeds
of Crime Act 2002.
David frequently appears in the Applications List in the High Court
and conducts trials in both the Chancery Division and the Mercantile
Court. He also regularly appears in the county court. Interim applications
feature frequently in his court work, as do applications for injunctive
relief.
